Graphics problem.. i think

ok, a serious post now. here are the specs on my spare system. i am building a new system but am doing it slowly because cash is hard to come by as of late.

2 gig celeron
ECS p47vcaxd2+
radeon 9600 pro
WD 40 gig drive (5200 RPM i think)
over 1 gig of pc 133 mem.

almost any game or any time i go through my picture albums, start a DVD everything loads real slow, skips every once in a while and various crap like that. I know this is not a power house system but it seems as if these problems should not be there due to the fact my 733 celeron didnt do this.

p.s. i have all current drivers and security updates.

maybe rolling back to older drivers might help. sometimes the newest drivers aren't as stable
