Ok guys I just recently purchased this laptop for my girlfriend and I need some drivers and come up empty handed. Acers website is a wet piece of you know what. The only browser that worked for me was internet explorer and the drivers managed to break XP (the audio one that is). I need some help.

I need the following drivers...


Audio
Chipset
Wifi
Video (its a gma 950)

Acer 3680-2682

Rep to someone who gets me some drivers that dont kill XP. Thanks in advance.

Audio driver 5.10.0.5273 killed XP?
And video, did you use 7.xxxx or 6.xxxx?

SOUND WORKS!!! Now just the ethernet and this baby is good to go.

I got video and wifi working thank god. Let me check what the audio was. Yeah Im pretty sure that is the version that killed it. Im gonna try it again to see.

I got ethernet working now. What a pain in the ass... +rep just cause

Hello, i'm new here...I just reformatted from Vista to XP and it's quite a pain getting these drivers to work! Can you assist me?

I am having the most difficult time getting the following to work:

Video Drivers

Modem(really don't need that one)

Ethernet

Wireless

Touchpad(it's frozen stiff)...I have to use an external mouse to click anything.

Can you please email the drivers you used? I would really appreciate it. I'm lost on this.

I would need an email addy for that.

Ok, I found most of the "working" drivers at driverstock.com, i'm still a newbie, so I can't post the URL directly yet, but you can search Acer 3680 and get what you need. I noticed that the Atheros, modem and LAN drivers they posted did NOT work. I went back to the Acer site for the LAN drivers and they worked! I'm not really concerned about the modem drivers, since I don't do dial-up anymore, but the wi-fi drivers would be nice to have again. Also, i'd like to note that I did NOT have to visit the Intel site for anything. I hope this helps any of you that are going crazy trying to convert from Vista to XP because it's forums such as this that keep me from losing my mind when doing these tasks.

Yeah, I asked for the drivers for the Wi-Fi because I don't have them. Everything else is golden.

Now I'm stumped
