| Hi, i'm going to be attending Grand Valley State University in Michigan next year, and on their website it states that: "Individually purchased Routers, wireless and Non wireless, may not be used on any GVSU campus. Passive (Non-managable) hubs or switches are allowed and must be approved/registered at the Helpdesk." I would like to get wireless internet in my room and they only provide a wired Ethernet connection. Is there even such thing as a consumer wireless switch? Could i get away with using a wireless router? Is there anyway that they can see i'm using a router? Anybody have any other ideas? thanks! | ||
