Default network user accounts

Okay, basically I have two computers, one is a fileserver. I store everything from music to Linux images to TV shows. It's running Windows XP Professional, rather..it WILL be running Windows XP professional, as soon as I format that partition and install it. I want to set up different user accounts for it. I want a "guest" account, so when I take it to LAN parties, people can READ ONLY, but not write or delete any of the files. And for ME, I want an account with full access, so I can read and write from shared folders at will. (ie. Add new programs to the programs folder) Does anyone know how to do this with windows XP? Thanks..

Sure, Type in a password at setup and then enable the guest account.

Use FTP server software for this. (like ServeU) It'll keep things MUCH simpler than using integrated user accounts in XP.

Give the Lanboys your IP address, have them FTP to your machine, and use the account that you specify.

Really simple.
