man chrome you picked a wonderful time to have ur rig breakdown with all the stuff ur sending me man that sux. Will DX8.0b install? If u can, try installing 8.0b and then upgrading to 9.0 instead of doing a full install of 9.0

i noticed that you have windows blinds installed on there (or some program like that) those kinds of skinning programs mess with EVERYTHING. I learned the hard way when i was trying to upgrade drivers for my video card, as a last resort I had to reinstall windows. Did you try taking that skin off and uninstalling that "skinning program"?

Did you do what the error window told you and contact your system administrator? When mine tells me to do this I call my home phone with my cell phone and the problem magically goes away. Thanks mIkRoSSuXORS.

Have you tried to remove Direct X and do a fresh install?

You can go back to an earlier version of DX by uninstalling.

Start here: http://download.guru3d.com/

Goto Generic Utilities section

Choose DirectX Eradicator
