Default overclocking my router

VIA dd-wrt i am overclocking my router

i am not pushing the routers CPU until i can get a small HSF for it, but the transmitter was pushed up from the measly stock 32 to 150 MW

That creates alot of heat, and i had to get some air into the router

Video of powerup:

What sort of tests are you doing to gauge your gains? Have you tested the original model so that you will have something to compare against? This looks cool, but I can't really see it improving performance by much

150 MW, no wonder it needs better cooling

that explains why i always have that one network in my range no matter where i go....

joking aside, you might want to post what your doing so others can try for themselves, suggest improvements, etc, the same goes for the laptop thread

You know you can change the BIOS of the router and get some of the same effects? I found a program online, and I can use my router 1.5 miles away....the program was a free download as well that works with any of the linksys wrt54g routers...have to be careful though, because you can fry your router.
