Default What the heck did I mess up (Firefox)?

Well, I did some Googling, trying to find a way to open a new window with the same web page I have on the old one. I created a user.js file in firefox, and could not do what I wanted to do. So I deleted the user.js file. Now the pictures do not load when I go to yahoo, and some of the pictures on this website do not load. As far as I remember, I set everything back, tried using default settings, even deleted and reinstalled Firefox.

Any ideas? My Linux laptop loads yahoo correctly, as does one of my borgs running XP on my network. So it seems I have 'Farfed' something up.

Any help is appreciated.

There are probably registry keys in the registry. Try deleting ALL of them...You probably only need to delete the essential ones, but its probably safe to delete them all.

Another suggestion: Install firefox to a different folder, sometimes this works with other programs too.

Thanks for the reply Nerdz. I have tried everything I can think of and stll no luck. I used the add/remove programs option of Windows, manually deleted every mozilla and Firefox file I could find, ran regedit and deleted all I could find. Now when I download Firefox, I get the same problem. As you suggested, I even tried installing it in another folder. No luck. Every time I install it, my bookmarks are there, and some web pages do not fully load.

Any other Ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
