You might want to look in to the Biostar Boards. Anandtech said they did really good and even my value board ($70) has got a ton of options thoguh Ive not gotten around to pushing it.

There were many other good choices for Motherboards, I originally was just going to do a few CPU's and maybe a motherboard or two..but it kinda got outta hand as it was!

I just got too tired (It's late and took a few hours to compile) and wanted to get the post finished before I accidently "Dumped" it and lost all my hard work

Feel free to add suggestions/experiences with hardware....also if you find it for a better price with comparable RMA/Service/Rep as New Egg, toss it in for your fellow OC'ers

Next month this will all change when AMD and Intel both drops prices..good for all of us!!!

And of coarse, Conroe will finally be here!

a E6700 is just over 1k.

was thinking of selling my fx and dfi board and upgrading to the Conroe but once these chips get here no-one will be wanting my hard-ware.
they will be going for the E6700 compared to my $1,500 FX.

a guy i know can build me a phase-change unit that will cool the Cpu and both Gpu's for approx $1,500,so i will start saving to get this unit and stick with what i have already got (i think its illegal to sell something that is not fully paid off anyway).
