I've done some work on family and friends PC and have installed it on many of them. It found over 80 virus', worms, and trojans...

If I didn't have my personal paid for virus protection software, I would use AVG no doubt.

Alright cool, I just installed "non-legit" xp on my desktop and havnt wanted to spend money on good internet security for fear that the xp would screw up. But so far i havnt had any problems. I have been using symantec corp. I have my laptop with NIS2k5 i usually go to the hack and crack sites on that ( and yes they do have a lot of viruses and trojans, stupid hackers) I just installed AVG and am going to try it out.

What Internet Security would yall suggest. I am acustom to NIS2kX and havnt had any problems with it. I have seen new Internet Security Programs out there now. Anyone try any of these?

AVG is pretty good. Symantec stuff is so bloated ads like five minutes to boot. I just run housecall maybe once every other month, it usually finds a lot, so it must be working.

AVG rules... I use it and only it on all of my PCs and I recommend it to anyone I do PC work for. It is good at what it does and does not hog resources like Norton.

I found it to be quite good... lot's of my buddies use it. I still prefer Nod32, though.... it uses even less
resources...

I've had AVG installed on my system ever since my last reformat. No paying subscription fees to McAfee or Norton for their virus definitions, and so far, no problems. A big thumbs up for AVG
