| try Mcmaster carr they got tons in various channel sizes. It's not cheap but comparing to "door edge mold" that stuff is cut length, thick and usually has a bead of silicone in the gutter. Snagged two sizes of cutter in like 25' lengths and I dont remember *not* payin' the bill! Came in just a few days - good folk there McMaster-Carr | ||

| It's a bit late for this post, but I recently bought door edge molding for my Modding On The Cheap project. With a typical steel case panel, the molding fits fine, and the bit of adhesive was more than enough to make it stick, and it sure as heck didn't come off easily once applied. Here in Canada, I bought it for about $5.00 per pack, and the pack has two 27" strips, which is probably enough for most typical window mods. And yes it's true, molding doesn't do sharp bends very well. It works fine if the corner is quite rounded, and if you have angled corners, you'll have to cut the molding at appropriate angles to make two adjacent pieces "fit" together. It's probably as cheap as you can go and comes in a variety of colors and styles. | ||

Yep - works a treat! I used it here myself: http://forums.pcapex.com/430145-post23.html but have since bought some of the MNPCTech moulding - It's cheap (even shipping it to New Zealand!) and it does the job sooooo much nicer ![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| That seems to work quite well, with the squared wiring anyway. I've tried this with round wires and it's a real pain to get a straight, consistent slit down one side, usually the X-Acto blade tended to slice one way or the other instead of perfectly straight, with the result that the 'wire tube' had a twisted slice. But if you can get the slice perfectly straight, you indeed do have tons of variety and colors to choose from. | ||
