Default conduit sleeving PSU

I've stumbled upon empty electrical conduit at my local Home Depot, and I really liked it for sleeving my PSU. It's 93 cents a foot, and it's readily available here at home, which will make the mod easier to complete, and let me turn out this thing faster. But, is it safe to run in my case, especially around my power supply? You guys tell me, I'm still new to modding...

Is it that metal stuff or what? If its plastic then its totaly safe, but the only thing with metal is you should watch out for the edges, as they can cut into insulation.

it's the metal stuff, and I know to deburr and possibly coat in some other plastic or something before using. Just wondered about grounding issues...

Well - the stuff is made to:

a) Surround insulated electrical wires

b) Be screwed into metal boxes via appropriate connectors.

But in general those metal boxes are grounded aren't they?

Wouldn't ya just be happier with plastic pond tubing of some sort? Cuts easier, no shockie-shockie, Depot may even have colors .... or you could pour paint down them maybe.

Hell metal will help shield the wires from RFI to your advantage. This means more stable, clean voltage outputs.

Good stuff.

It don't mater what the case is made of. I you want to be totally 100% anal about it, then ground it to the PSU. Otherwise just watch them edges.
