I'm pretty new to the modding community, but I just thought I'd post a few small tips that the other newbies might not know

Dremeling is an art, I need suggestions to further my craft. lol
Any suggestions to refine this process are welcome!
When dremeling plastics I always draw the cut onto the piece, then tape and redraw the design onto the tape. I then really roughly follow the design about 3mm on the inside of the line with a cut off wheel, then pry the interior piece out. After I use a small rounded sanding bit for the dremel to remove up to almost 1/2 mm - 1 mm of the line. After that I remove the tape, to reveal the drawn cutout still drawn on the piece. Then I use a coarse sandpaper (100 grit-400 grit) to remove right up to the line, and a high grit paper to smooth it out.
Something that I have found that helps me a lot is to salvage spare metal case parts, and bits around the house to use as sanding 'boards.' i.e. I used adhesive sand paper and stuck it to an old 5.25 cover, and use it to sand flat surfaces. I also use a flat cover for my usb connector for small flat surfaces, an old marker, and maglight for round surfaces, and a metal
psu connector for beveled 90 degree angles. I know these are probably available at stores, but I'm cheap, and they work surprisingly well for the job.
Post all of your dremel tips here!
