my little modded mouse

put a blinking led on an intellimouse. with the normal red there you could barely see it, so i cut it off and put some clear plastic there. heres a small video followed by some pics.

The beginning

Off with the sliding pads, have to get to the screws.

with the original red peice on like normal m$ mice i couldnt even see it, seriously. so i took it off and just have a clear plastic peice so its just as bright as any other 5mm one like it shines a circle on my shirt from a foot and a half away so its not bad.

cool. maybe next time a color changeing one. heh i have a color changeing LED. im gonna go see if i can ruin my old microsoft optical mouse

ugghhh!! crappy color changeing LED! or no i blame the crappy microsoft mouse!
either way its my fault. the resistor was too big and didnt give the thing enough juice for the blue LED to fire up. so i only got the red and green blinking. so im scrapping this and going to bed. i better put the mouse back together.
math came up with i need 60 ohms for 5 volts
the closest one i could find in the unorganized piles was 75 ohms. picky picky now arent we little part.

it looked cool around the buttons and scroll wheel while it lasted
