my lil modded power supply

haha this is so fun :-D its a small 85 watt PSU that made into a PSU just for fans. I added the blower on top and removed the 40mm fan in the back i added in a fan filter in the back where the 40 used to be here are some pics

NOTE: the circle on the left is the floppy power connector. the other cirlce is a 4 pin molex connector that couldnt be seen behind the PSU

well this was a fun lil project that i did in a little under 2 hours ( had to run to the project shop to get parts)

Me thinks you should have put the fan filter on the blower. Looks like the sheot regardless!

aye there is no need for a filter-- its sucking air through the psu so filter is not needed except on the part where the air is coming in

EDIT: it'll look even more like the sheyat when i paint it after i get back from baltimore on a 9 day trip to visit my sister who goes to college @ johns hopkins university!

LoL. J/K. I was thinking of making one just for the fans too, my wattage is about dried up and it gives better options for cable hiding. Alsways a plus.

Edit: Thats sleeving and heatshrink jdogg. We have a new sponsor that sells all that stuff or you could try any of the major modding online stores.

its expandable sleeving. i personally got it at fry's electronics and i put heat shrink on the ends of it to keep it all in one place and neat looking
