Default Bolts?

I am looking for some nice Red Annodized Bolts to finish off a sub box I am building for my truck. I found some that sound good but I am not 100% sure about how to read the size. They are listed as "4-40 x 1 Button Hd Soc Cap Screw", I believe the "4-40" is the thread size, and the "1" in the length (in inches). Is this correct? Thanks.

approximately. You won't really know for sure till it gets here, but that's probably what 90% of those are. Best of luck to you, man.

the clearence hole for a 4-40 screw is .114 - .119 (diameter of hole in thousanths of an inch)
The drill bit size (in wire sizing) is a #32
in fraction sizing use a 1/8" (but this will be a little slop in the fit)

I am not only a "CAD-Pro-Hoe" I am a design engineer.
