| I'm being graciously given a game pad by my uncle, who recently upgraded to a USB pad. I have no game port whatsoever,though, and to avoid spending money, would like to know if I could cut up one of my existing cables and make it USB. I solder better than average, and have NO fear of cutting something up, but I wondered if it were possible... | ||

| I just bought a usb starter kit from Microcenter that came with a gamepad with game port (go figure) with a usb adapter. Oh, yea, it's $10. http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0161394 | ||
