I was thinking of painting mine blue and black, and install an LED, so that when it is in use it turns on. I was also thinking of maybe putting in a stronger motor. But the slowness might be bad batteries, I will use better batteries before I switch out the motor. The only real reason that I even have one is the fact that I draw, and regular pencils work better for that. For regular writing, I always use a mechanical or a pen.

Kil, I use mechanical pencils for drawing...

Also, just about every single manga artist in Japan uses a mechanical pencil... before it gets inked and colored ( for shows )

I loose pens so fast that I couldnt possibly own one of value

Good idea though, but the problem with a complete matching lifestyle is that if you loose one thing then your out of the complete matching system

I could use mechanical pencils for drawing. But I just like the feel of a regular pencil when drawing better. I don't know why, but I just like to draw them with an old fashioned pencil. For anime and such, that is on tv, is not always drawn with pencil on paper. I have a friend that is an artist and he gets paid for making computer graphics. He dosen't use pen or pencil. He draws them on his computer through a tablet.
