| In the schematic for the rig, there is a component that I am not familiar with, it is on the branch near the bottom. Before the actual coffie machine components. It apears to be some sort of sine wave with an ampere value beside it. Also, were did he get the 110VAC for the source? Wouldn't be 120VAC? Because it comes out of the wall. | ||

| Heh, I thought that it was 120VAC, I am such a dunce. My electronics class just went over it last month. Oh well. Does anyone know what the component is? It is boggleing my mind. The only other thing that I don't quite get is the relay. If you don't want power to go to the coffie pot, wouldn't the branch coming out of the switch just go straight back to the source? EDIT:// Well I guess I should have opened my textbook a little earlier. The first page that I saw when I opened it had the schematic symbol that I was looking for. It is a fuse. Looks like I should have read and thought about it more carefully before I asked. ![]() It seems like I have made myself look like an idiot. Without any help from the people here.
