purple quad led 92mm fan......?

Got a strange request in the shop today, the mod isnt out of the norm, but he wants purple 92mm fans, im having one hell of a time finding them.....anyone know someplace that has purple ones?

i may have to make the dam thing myself, but id prefer to just order them.

You could just buy some Plastic Dye, that might be the better route, i havent see any purple fans around.

Do they make purple LED's? I havent seen any before, I'd like some if there are any around.

Can't you just get a quad LED fan, and replace the LED;s?

Ben, that site has 80mms...
Never thought about that before, but I havent ever seen a 92mm PURPLE LED fan... wierd... I think your best option is to buy yourself a quad-led fan and replace with some purple LEDs (Support out PR members and buy them from MustangP51)

ive been able to find just about every color 92mm light on one site or another, just no purple, it seems to be the only color that i cant find, dam, oh well looks like i will have to break out the soldering iron and glue gun and make them myself.

i more then likely will just buy blue 92mm and swap out the led's

Hi there, I had the same problem, I swapped the purple LED lights out of a 80mm quad fan and installed them into another 92mm Quad fan. Purple 80mm Quad Fans can be found at bigfootcomputers.com Hope this helps, Gary (Blowdown)
