478 HSF **Redneck style***

I was putting together a p4 rig in my shop just now , and when i went to fire it off the HS fan wasnt working. I checked it on another board and still no go, well bein' 10pm and no comp store open and me being bored ............................. whats the worst i could do right???.

Here's what i did, i took and cut the old fan and moter off and smoothed the mount out flat, then i took a fan off a 423 HS and see how it fit well it was just a bit small to screw down squared off so i turned it . As you can see *maybe* all i had to do was trim off two corners for the hold downs to fit and PRESTO ........ bask in action. Tommorow when im more active i'll find a better way to join the two pieces other that zip ties.

You know what I say is...Take all them 60mm fans and ducktape like 10 of them together....
