| Anyone know if its possible to make something like this?? Something like...putting batteries inline with my MP3 to my headphones. I want my headphones to go much louder than they are, like when they are hooked to my computer. I like this: http://www.dansdata.com/cmoy.htm http://www.headwize.com/projects/sho...=cmoy2_prj.htm But all these seem to be over my head..can anyone help? Thanks in advance. | Dunno if this will help, but what I do for my MP3's is to beef up the gain in the file using something like MP3gain: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/ It makes all of your MP3's louder (you can specify how loud) without normalizing them or bumping up the file size - the only thing to watch is that some players "clip" tracks if they get too loud (basically they can only output up to a certain peak wave value before overloading and playing a "tick" noise or no noise at all - kinda like a bad CD)I suggest that you maybe try it on a test file and see - might help, then again - it might not ![]() | ||
