| Apex Master Tech Apprentice  |  pimp that phone Apparently Vonage has gotten smart and is trying to get people to make the technology their own. Or at least personalize it in some way. They are running a contest to see who can modify vonage equipment in order to make it look, and I quote " pimpin' ". Ok this is a contest, and it's got a pimping theme...is there any reason for me not to believe a PimpRig member wasn't invited to be one of the four contestants? I THINK NOT! So here it is. http://www.pimpthatphone.com/ Send a nasty letter to vonage for the lack of true pimpness being represented. | |

| Old Skool Pimp  | Actually....The first one has posted on PR here before...I believe as MODMAN.... Isn't he the one that claims to have the TV modding show or something along that lines. I think Bill from MNPCTECH should have been in there over him.... But the guy that made all those custom fan grills and that SATANS DEUCE case are KICK ASS... I love that case. | |

Actually, YES, Chris Dols is MOD Man 1 and I am currently a contestent in the PIMP THAT PHONE contest as well as trying to get everything lined up so we can start to shoot the first episode in late October or Nov. of MOD The Machine for Either ABC or NBC (at this time)... | Apex Tech God  | The only one that can be considered competition is the samuraii fish one old boy did. His was a little more cleaner, and hey lets face it......more practical. Yours however had the wow factor that really caught my eye. Even though she's 6'2" and shes made of plastic, id detach her hand and make a long distance call anytime. | Apex Techie Wannabe | If you must know, I am the guy who helped select the people we chose for the modding contest. I searched your gallery extensively (great gallery by the way) and made a list of the modders I would like to include. I am not the only person who made the decisions however and anybody who has ever tried to go through a corporate approval process probably knows how it went. Good to hear you have a copyright on the word "Pimp"  | |

| Apex Master Tech Apprentice  | Own contest Why doesnt PR have its own pimping contest with like game consoles (xbox,ps2 or whatever). ok i figured it out. 1.Consoles must be operational. A picture of the console running on a television is required. 2.Pimprig.com is not responsible for any problems you may experience by taking part in this competition.Eg. Warranty 3.Anyone viewing your project should be able to destinguish the console type. ...... ok im getting bored typing these rules. i think its a good idea anyway.Do you? | |
