I have a Logitech MX Cordless Duo and am wanting to mod the hell out of it. I've already given it a fresh paint job and was struck with the idea of backlighting it with EL. Now for the problem at hand. This is, after all, a wireless set, and I would REALLY like to keep it that way. Any suggestions on how I can go about doing this?

Nope, light mods aren't such a good idea for wireless stuff. Idk, i cant really think of anywehre you could stash batteries to run EL wire in a keyboard.

I'm out of town at the moment and away from my keyboard for the next week. I'll get pics posted of the paintjob as soon as possible. It's the wireless keyboard that comes in the combo with the Logitech MX-700.

yeh i have the same combo so i just wanted to see what yours looks like

The framing around the main keyboard and number pad is done in gold, I left the silver colored framing at the top and side alone. But I painted the extra special buttons and the volume dial gold to match the frame. So basically... the normal keyboard keys are all original black, the silver frame is still silver, the wheel is still black and everything else is gold. And I masked off the translucent area around the special keys at the top right and top left to give contrast there too. Also, the round logitech emblem by the F12 button was left intact. Hard to describe... like I said.. I'll get pics posted as soon as I get back in town. It came out looking pretty good.
