flat screen

i`m getting a secondhand flat screen pretty soon,
i did look over it quickly and it has normal screws so it has modding potential,
although it`ll probly be just a quick sand and then sprayed,
just wondered what else i could do with this,
it`s pretty small,15" i think allthough i hav`nt measured it but looks about that,
i was thinking of a dual screen set up,but my other monitor is a standard which i`m used to,
i have tried a friends laptop with a flat screen but could`nt get on with it doing graphics,

any info on setting up a dual screen system would be appreciated and some ideas on what to do with this mod

Painting the casing sounds fun, I might have to do that to mine, but I would void warranty. Hmmm...As for Duel screen set up, I have a 19" flat, and 17" CRT, which works, OKAY, but its not a nice transition. For the Best Duel Screen setup you would have 2 of the exact same monitor, that is to say, the more similar the two monitors are, the better.

Bah...............you don't need the exact same monitor for a duely setup...........hell, I'm running an old 15 inch Phillips with a 19 inch HP monitor...........

All you need is a video card w/ duel outputs........

My vid card has the standard VGA out and then S-Video out. Can I have a TV and my 19" CRT on at the same time?

Yeah, but the TV will be larger with a much lower resolution, so it wouldnt be an ideal set up.
