Default copy xbox F: drive to new HDD

I have two modded xbox's, both with 160GB drives. One of the drives is full of my backed up games and applications, while the other is blank. After formatting, I am able to copy the C, E, X, Y, and Z partitions to the new drive without a problem, but the F: partition will not copy. Any suggestions????

I've had serious trouble cloning xbox hard drives using only the software on the chip, its a whole lot easier to just put both in a computer and clone them with ghost or something.

Is there a specific software you used to ghost your drives? I have been looking on download.com and the freeware doesn't seem like it will work.

Some would argue that the F partion is the most important because it holds all of the legal copies of all the games that you legally purchased. It would also hold say xbox media center or any type of tool used to rip dvds/xbox titles.

Have you used slayers to format the f partion? Why not FTP the files you want on that drive to it?

I do my formatting through the Xenium OS. The files are not on my PC, so I can not FTP them to the new drive.

FTP the files from your other xbox to your pc and then FTP them to the new one.

use acronis, you put both hdd onto the same ide cable, then run the program its kinda like a live cd, and it copies the hdd no prob, i did this with my xbox so i could add a bigger hdd. from whatever it was on the xbox to 300gig maxtor its pretty crazy but it works.

LINK

you can dl the software like i did from p2p/
