| Ok so I ordered a new switch for my old at psu, and like the idiot that I am, I didn't even check to see if it would work. So heres what I ordered. http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/ele-75.html Here's what I have to work with. ![]() ![]() Can I make this work? EDIT: NVM I think I got this figured out, I just couldn't figure out how to delete the thread. Can a mod please take care of this for me? Thx EDIT: OK I actually do need help. I think I screwed up the switch. Since the new switch only had one terminal for the power source not two, I wired both the white and the blue wire together , then to terminal 1. I wired the black and brown wire together, then to terminal 2. I thought i had this wired right, but when I plugged it in, the fan was running, but the switch was turned off. I went to flip the switch off, and heard a pop from the switch so I figured its screwed. Help please! Last edited by RAA_Kr1cH; 06-October-04 at 03:57 AM.. | ||

| Ouch...that looks old school...especially with the solder balls on the later picture. Can you get a shot of what you ordered? as most "modern" AT switches have 4 slot-effect connectors and have a map of enemy territory to tell you which cable goes where. It should be straight forward, so long as you can get rig of that mess the manufaturer left behind, and dont leave the mains cable in and on ![]() | ||
