LCD Module that reads voltage

I want to make use of an LCD module I have that I bought sometime ago to read voltage. I want the LCd to display the current voltage I have on a second psu I will have in my case. Ive thought about using a a/d converter and then feed it into the comp and then though the parallel port but I would need a program to do that for me and I dont know how to code. So how would I go about doing it?

the second psu isnt the one u would find in a normal comp its like..one of these u type things.

you could use a PIC controller like most things. otherwise the AD converter will do. someone is going to say MBM will do it but not notice the part about from a second supply. its a given

I'm sure Matrix Orbital or Crystalfontz have softare for their modules that will interface with your mobo.
