| I've got a BEFW11S4, if the enclosure is the same (which it appears to be) they open pretty easily. The blue face is held on by some plastic tabs molded into it on the sides. I just gave mine a firm pull on one side and it popped open... no screws or anything. I'll see if I can find my old digital camera if you need pics. EDIT: Pics! | you guys are part right. i got it open (thanks CRE) and am thinking LED swap, paint, a little fan (the freakin thing gets hot after a few hours off operation) at super low voltage so it makes no noise, some of my extra BGA copper heatsinks, and a window of unknown design. i was thinkin of makin it a Linkin Park theme, as they are my favorite band. and the biggest part of this whole thing, is iv never REALY done any of this before, so its practice for my case. oh and btw, anyone got any ideas of where to attach hte powerconnectors of my 40mm fan? would right off hte power cable thing work? with the proper resister and such? or owuld that draw to much power away fromt the router? theres not many other places to attach it. Thanks | ||

| Check the power suppy, it sould have the voltage it supplies labeled. If I remember correctly, the adapter for mine only supplies about 5 volt, which unfortunately is typically do little for a 12v fan to start up. You may want to look into getting a fan with a lower voltage requirement. I think anything with a requirement of 9v or less would do. I wouldn't go looking along for a spot which is running at 12v, since you don't know how much current the circuit was built to supply... | ||

| ok, iv attached images to help me explain what im thinking image 1 has one 24-30v power addapter to the router, that splits the juice between router, fans and leds (this is the prefered set up) image 2 has two 12v power addapters, one for router (stock) and the other i add to power fan and leds will image 1 work? or will i need to go with image 2? | ||

| If I were you, I would stick to the 12v powersupply. Get a higher amp model if you really need it. Going with 24v will only overvolt the fans, you would have to hook it up in odd configurations to get it down to 12v again, when with a 12v one, all you have to do is run it all together. That's my 2cents. | ||
