big mac mod

I plan on turning a mac into a PC! Its gana be a bit tough seeing as the monitor is also stuck in the case itself. I can see removing the monitor from the inside and getting rid of it and replacing it with a LCD or plasma monitor. Also, I dont see how big of a motherbord I would need or how big of one would fit in it. Plus to pile on top of that I have to find a way to power the monitor and motherboard from one line. so everything looks clean. I also want to have use of the front spakers and controllers. If you guys have any ideas or sugestions plz let me know.

just wondering but how are you going to put a plasma screen in a mac? plasmas are 30+ inches . ..

what model mac is it. we'll need the measurements to be able to tell what kind of mobo we can fit in there.

I think he means LCD as in the thin ones prolly like a 15" would do great cause I'm pretty sure he's talking about an iMac. Those are tough puppies to crack open good luck!

It's been done, sorta. Someone took a CRT monitor, and built a PC in it with an LCD, the I-Mike. Good luck bro, can't wait to see how it turns out.

I want a G5 case. Did you know you can get plexi side panels for the G5?
