| Apex Techie Wannabe | Well my dad just bought some leds light to decorate his house as i found that fascinating i told him that i could put some in my Case xP ,so the next day i told him to get one for me too ...He got the Red leds with animation stuffs (the things that we put on christmas trees xP )But well that was pretty cool ,now that i want to do is to make it powerUp when i turn on the computer as the led animation is directly connected to the Wall Socket and it consumes 220 V @ 50 Hz i can't insert it in the 12 V from my Psu,what i 've thought is firstly to solder it to the PSU Wire coming from the wall Socket so no additional socket is in used because i lack those when my friends come to lan party every friday .I thought a lot of ways of installing the led but the problem is to make it running when my computer starts to RUN ![]() Can someone tell how i could do that plz ... the led animation got 50 red leds so any idea ? ![]() If more pic wanted just Ask ![]() ![]() | |

| wiring it to the psu cord would leave it powered all the time. using a small, internally mounted power inverter may work though. power inverters convert 12vdc to 120vac, normally powered by car lighter sockets or direct from the battery. | ||
