Question Umm...oops... :(( (PSU Modulation Project)

I already looked through the threads and didn't find an answer to my question, so I'm going to ask.

The PCB (that came with the PSU I bought from FeRaL) requires 3 yellow/orange/red wires and 5 black wires.

According to the PCB, the voltages should be like this:

Yellow: +12v
Orange: +3v
Black: GND
Red: +5v

I only have two orange wires available in the PSU that I'll be using in conjunction with the parts from the unit I bought from FeRaL, so I need to figure out what other wires I can use in place; maybe splice (pigtail) one of the orange wires going to the MOBO supply?

I'm going to end up with a bunch of excess black/yellow/red wires that'll I'll probably cut off of the unit, then smear some liquid electrical tape over the "bare" leads or put some shrink tubing over them, not sure as to how I'm going to manage the unused wires yet.

Without knowing what kind of a load each connection needs on the PCB I would just say
you should solder some extra pigtails to the wires as you need them. Good Luck :-)

Pigtails it is.

I'll try to get some pics of the finalized project.

Will probably be putting 2-4 Red LEDs on the window that'll be being installed, then the casing also needs to be painted, so between lack of time and lack of funds, it'll be a bit.

Show us some pic's as you go. It's always more fun than waiting
on a finished project :-)
