| I am making a gift for my father who has around 700 hours of music in his collection and I was wondering if I could get some help on where to look for parts and how much space i need what kind of case you reccomend etc. I am good with computers and I know i can build it by myself i just want some help with what parts people like. I need a r/f remote (to change the songs from outside) or instead of the r/f remote use a tablet (he has the tablet) and a wireless connection (this would be my most favorite choice because i assume it could have visuals and crontrol more then just the stereo) I also was thinking about getting a shuttle case but then i saw the new abit case today has anyone heard about this case i know it can fit 2 hdd's instead of one (always a good thing) i do want to have a miniatx case like that. Also if it were possible with the tablet remote to control the tv if there is a tv capture card? Thank you all very much in advance for any and all help. | ||

| I would like to keep it under $300 it doesnt need a monitor and i will have to go pick up this months MAXPC (good excuse to spend $8) I probably wont include a TiVo style recording, maybe it will be his birthday present .I would like to make a complete entertainment tv but like i said ealier i don't know if it fits in my budget so it could be an add on later thats one of the reasons i was thinking of the Abit micro case. P.S. if you dont know what case I am talking about here is a review from The Screen Savers http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/p...558093,00.html | ||

| 300 bucks is really cheap for a new system, especially for a MiniATX. I'd try lookin to upgrade your cost first. Also, you can control Winamp via a plugin over a LAN, so if you had a PDA that has wireless, you could control it via that interface if you wanted. I'll try and find you a link. www.browseamp.com is the site | ||
