| Ok I'm royally pissed at the Xbox 360's lack of quality. IÂ’m on my 3rd one (Elite) and their all the same. It's loud, hot, and kinda dumb looking if you ask me (none have broken though). By the way if you manage to accidentally let a DVD case cover one of the precious few vents, that suckers frame rate will drop lower then George BushÂ’s IQÂ…0. What IÂ’m thinking, I want to take my 360 apart and put it into a brand spanking new SilverStone Lascala SST-LC02. I want to do this to solve several things one, I want to put in some nice quit fans or a possible water cooling unit Xbox 360 Dual Cooler Kit [6mm, 1/4"]. Second I have a nice tower system so why not have my consoles be more apart of it. Gaming companies keep saying that their gaming consoles are the perfect companion for a home entertainment system, but they donÂ’t fit into them very well. IÂ’m also thinking I may replace the DVD drive with a higher quality one, the one it has is so loud and probably cheap. I may even get a different case that has dual drives, then buy the HD DVD player for the 360 and mount it in the new case with the 360. If I do put water cooling in ill do the full shebang, flow meter, drain, and fill ports. I even thinking of a small LCD screen with temp displays would be kinda nice. IÂ’ve checked online and havenÂ’t found any resources for how to do this, specifically wiring electrical or the switches. If I do a water cooling setup one thing I want to do is have a separate power switch for the pump so I can leave it running even when the 360 is off. IÂ’ve wanted to do this water cooling but couldnÂ’t find out how. Lastly is there such ting as refrigerated radiators or something similar for computer water cooling. I just figure if I get a large enough case I can have it all internal. Thanks. Last edited by Spatha; 08-June-07 at 02:27 PM.. Reason: Dosn't like copy past from MS WORD | ||

| if you go to engadget.com and search for "xbox 360 laptop how to" you can find most of the wiring and a lot of information that may help you out, even if you are going in the opposite direction as far as case design. in the second version he just used air cooling, but he did use water cooling in a similar design in his first xbox 360 laptop if you also want to take a look at that. | ||
