| Apex Techie Wannabe | I've got an old battery charger outside that gets hot as hell during the summer. The fan in question is a vantec tornado, 12v dc 1 amp. The question is will it run if soldered to a 120 volt power cord and run off a regular outlet? Last edited by meveld; 17-May-07 at 06:19 PM. | |

| Try to put the charger somewhere cooler, in the shade etc... And as degu22 said, connect it to the 12v output. You can also buy a 120v fan like this one: eBay: Sunon AC 115V fan SP101A 120x120x38 NEW (item 220089380809 end time Jun-04-07 07:25:12 PDT)
