Well, I know this isnt original, but sleeving the wires, and adding an LED fan are quite commonplace. Paint is always a good idea too. Yes, please post pics.

If this PSU is part of a modded PC project I suggest that it follows the theme of the case, if not, I am really into non-standard form factor PSUs lately. I would even go as far as removing the cover and modding something directly onto the components. Painting the components maybe?

Just be careful - getting zapped is no fun

Do something different from what everyone else does...take the guts out of it, and mount 'em inside a hamster-ball, then paint it with UV-reactive ClearNEON paint.

Ive been saving this one for myself but ill let it slip. Are you any good with braiding? Pick 4 colors for wires and replace all of your wires on the psu. Than braid the 4 pin by splitting two, the 24 by splitting 12, the 6 by splitting 3.....you get the point.

GK did it with his 4 pin molex's here but it would look sweet if it was done all the way

How about anodizing the heatsinks?, there sinply screwed onto most of the PSU's ive torn apart, and therealuminum, that would be the pimpness.

I used a somewhat different braid technique than GK, but yes, it looks really sweet. This post shows my technique.

Maybe increase the psu size and include a watercooling system inside with hookups for the cpu on the end. Stick an 80mm radiator on the outside of the existing fan.

That would be an amazing mod, although the PSU would be massive, it would be awesome, with 1/4 tubing you might be able to pull off a small one.
