| Has anyone? I took all the plastic/heatshrink stuff off of mine, to see what parts I would need. It's two resistors, three capacitors, two plugs(one for power, one for the actual cathode)and the big block with copper wire wrapped around it. I have a feeling the hardest things will be getting a PCB and getting the high voltage copper thing. I know this is a poor description, sorry. | ||

| All you need is a step-up transformer (The box you saw) this converts the 12v line to about 600v, the capacitor just helps even out the input voltage, resistors just are there to look cool. I'll see what I can dig up, but you might have trouble finding a transformer with suitable windings. | ||
