| Apex Elite Tech  |  need some help yall! ok so i just saw identity on dvd, TIGHT MOVIE, i wanna rip it to my computer and save it, i tried this before a while ago, but i didnt knw what the hell i was doing what is a good dvd ripping program, and a compressor, i dnt want 5 gigs taken up by one dvd ideas?????? | |

| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme  | If you want to be able to make it so it fits on a dvdr then try this... http://www.techseekers.net/modules.p...wcontent&id=68 But if you want to make it into a 700mb divx file or two then try using DrDivx...suppose to be 3 easy steps and you have a copy on your comp...also you can try... http://www.doom9.org/...they have tons of guides and help that you will find useful...if you use DrDivx let me know how it turns out. | |

| Apex Techie II | Hey, THIS site will answer ALL of your questions...you just got to wade on in! http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/ar...vi_tmpgenc.cfm This link explains the steps for ripping a dvd and then how to use regular cd rom to produce SVCD or VCD for viewing on a standalone dvd player (attatched to your tv). You won't need all the steps since you just want to view on your computer.
