Looking for a reliable laptop HD

Can anyone recommend a good laptop HD? Ive been through about 3 IBM travelstars on mine and Im fed up.

Shadow... I sympathize. I had five laptops in six months die on my bench due to crappy IBM HDDs back in my PC repair days.

Toshiba also makes hard-drives for laptops. Might give them a shot... I haven't heard much about 'em (I'm still on the planning stages of affording my own laptop)... but as I haven't heard anything about 'em either way, could be there isn't much to talk about (which is usually a good thing when it comes to hard-drives).

I'm also pretty sure Fujitsu makes laptop hard-drives, as does Hitachi (although they're in bed with IBM)...

Good luck, lad... Might be a little gentler on the ol' laptop... those hard-drives, dropping them roughly two inches is enough to shock 'em into death outside the laptop...

hmm kinda reminds me of the dell commercial where they show thier "torture testing" by dropping it... of course they dont show if it boots afterwards...
