Default need help fast or im paying big bucks!

AHHHHHH MAN! i need help. My friend brought his computer over to my house, he has a usb wireless network card. It setup on my network and we had a blast all weekend playing counter strike and batlefield. Now, he went home and it wouldnt set back up. I renamed his workgroup back, no dice. We tried making new network connections nothing is working. NOTHING> Im afraid to uninstall his card to get rid of all networkd settings, because they couldnt get or me to get the usb wireless thing to work o they hired a specialist to bust in and freak out and rig it up. So then i dont wanna uninstall the wireless card and then try to reinstall only to find it wont thedn they have to pay big bucks to get this guy to come and help again. His dad already thinks its my fault, but i did nothing. Their were network bridges that i dont belive that were supposed to be there. So we uninstaklled all wireless connections except one then tried to make a new one. His workgroup name is tundra but nothing works. Please help. He has a usb linksys wireless connecter. I think the computer specialist freaked out and programmed all the ips and set up a network bridge or something. Any advice would help so much. I really need advice. HOW DO I FIX THIS!!!! It connects to a network called tundra at 100 % strenght but no internet. PLEASE HELP!!!

Silly question, but did you reset the modem and run network wizard again? Can you connect to the net at all if you bypass the network and run connection wizard?

That sucks d00d...are you getting an IP address? To check:

go to START --> RUN type CMD hit ENTER
type IPCONFIG /ALL hit enter

It should list an IP address along with all the other pertinent information for the network.

if you are, try releasing and renewing the IP (if it's DHCP assigned)

still in the command window, type the following:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

I had this problem once when this networking pimp of mine came over for a half-life duel and I had to change my network domain name, then change it back, well I ended up resetting the router and everything was fixed, btw what wireless router was he using? Linksys 0wnz j00, when it comes to networking Linksys has always had the easiest driver setup for me, its like the AMD of networking, the Ferrari Enzo of 802.11-Land
