| Apex Techie Lite | Good day, I have a lot of media (who doesnÂ’t nowadays) and I prefer to keep it all on an external drive, since I can bring it to lans and easily take different computers and still have all my media. Anyway, I would like to upgrade my USB drive to a higher capacity. As it turns out, buying multiple 320Gb hard drives is much cheaper than buying single, high capacity 500 or 750Gb drives. So, my question is, can I connect multiple HDD to my USB device, possibly as a RAID array? Yes I know I would have to build a new case for the USB device. | |

| Try here for mobile raid usb combos. Look under their Server cases, 20 drive cube case, that's alot of disk space, yah more pr0......I mean pictures!!! Thats 6.4TB theorical with 320GB HDD, or 15TB theorical with 750GB HDD in RAID 0 Last edited by The Captain; 13-September-06 at 10:10 PM.. | ||
