hp keyboard not working (kinda)

i bought this HP keyboard from a garage sale, it was just 2 dollars, so i couldnt refuse. feels slighty better than my pretty much 1 year old saitek. but anyway its this keyboard: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...Photo-0037.jpg

what i was wondering is, why doesnt the top buttons work? things like the eject buttons, some of the media controls, and some internet controls. could it be because i dont have windows media edition, or because i dont have a HP?

You need to download the keyboard drivers from HP or if outdated search the keyboard model# to see what you find.Downloading the wrong driver will screw things up however(been there)Jo

I use to have an old Compaq keyboard that was kinda the same. It had those buttons on top and it came with a driver diskette. You should be able to find driver from the hp website fairly easily.

but this is a PS2 keyboard, not a USB...i didnt know PS2 hardware uses drivers too O_o but oh well ill check the website anyway. lol
