| I've had the problem of having a Xbox 360 in the furthest reaches of my house from my wireless router and the serious lack of funds to get an actual Xbox 360 wireless adapter, my friend had recommended this game adapter, but it is B, I'm using a Linksys WRT54G (v5), and he told me that G is backwards compatible with B.. But is B (in all it's antiquity) good enough to play online games across, say, 75ft, a few sheetrock walls, and a floor? Also, are there any problems encountered using a B device on a G router that I should know? (I have avoided wireless networking for so long because my troubleshooting other people's networks have not lended me the best experience in trusting them..) | ||

| I've got the same router, and my rig only has a wireless-B adapter in it. I've managed to do plenty of online gaming this way with no problems. I think the main factor in speed whilst gaming will be the connection to your ISP. I used to game online with a 756K connection just fine over a wireless network. I think you should be fine with this setup. | ||
