Hey fellows, I recently purchased a Logitech G5 mouse because my previous microsoft optical mouse was presumed dead before of the fact I could not right click. Now, with this new mouse things were fine until this morning I logged on and I couldn't right click on anything at all. It just wouldnt do anything. Any ideas on how I would be able to remedy this problem? Thank you.

G5 huh

my friend has had that one for a while (razer copperhead for me ) and hes never had that problem

either you have really bad luck with mice or something might be wrong with the usb slot youre plugging the mouse into (assuming your old MS mouse was usb too)

Try another mouse if you have one, check for viruses and malware (could be a virus made by a mac enthusiast )?

Check if the port is OK - if you are using USB there may be something wrong with the USB driver in the OS. I have seen windows do some crazy things to the USB hub driver.

My suspicion is malware also.
Run all appropriate programs and go from there.

now that it has started to work again...

yeah, probly malware

my own "not good software" protection

firefox on the frontlines complete with all those wonderful extensions
AVG anti virus
microsoft defender
spybot
ad aware

and of course, one of the most important tools of the trade

not going to "those" sites

It's gotta be a port problem. Does it seem like there's a system delay when clicking? Because then it could be a memory problem.
