Default Good News for Owners of Ultra XConnect v1

While we are still left without the better quality of the newer X2s, we can now have the much nicer looking cables!

Great linkage Gzim.

I'm still riding on the same first-gen X-Connect (despite what all the naysayers have naysaid) I won right here at PCApex, and the cable stiffness is the only issue I've ever had with it. Nice that you could order two relatively inexpensive kits and get the exact cable combos you'd need. Nice move Ultra. Way to take care of your user base.

EDIT: The only other thing I'd like to see Ultra do is offer a shorter set of cables for SFF buffs. Are you listening Ultra?

Oooh nice find.
I've got the 1st-gen X-connect as well, runs great.
I'll have to keep this in mind if I ever want to swap out the cables. My only real complaint is the main MOBO cable. That think is about 3/4 of an inch thick and impossible to route around the case effectively

Sweet! Now they have individual cables, for the selective buyer!

Now, if only they had UV cables...

EDIT: Hmm...yeah...for $10 for individuals, and $20 for the kit, I think you might as well get the kit..

are the flex fit cables UV or not??

if they arent i might have to pass except maybe on the MB cable because I love the UV reactive look.

I believe the new X Connect 2 UV version comes with UV flex cables, but they don't have any X Connect 1 flex cables with UV I think yet...
