| Banned | So I was about to show my freind the crysis gameplay video, and upon loading the video, via gametrailers built in video player ( I.E. .... IE) I blue screened, and again, and again, not sure why. Pc is completely stable, passes prime95 for 2 days, wtf is up here? | |

| Well, other than a software/driver issue (Most likely, does it do this at stock speeds?) It can be alot of things. Just cause a CPU is prime stable doesnt tell the whole picture... Loading up the video card can pull alot of power that is normally available for the CPU and ram, and also add lots of heat. You need to fire up a game and play it for a few hours to tell if a CPU and/or Vid Card OC is stable, just don't rely on Prime or Folding as the sole means of stability testing. Borderline power supplies and weak case air flow, along with it being OC'd too far are the most common hardware problems..I always start there. EDIT BF-2 always requires me to drop another 50-100MHZ off what I can run Folding at, it is the most sensative game to OC'ing I have seen yet, if there is something off...it will let you know pretty quick! | ||
