Default ATI + aVidia = problems???

I have a Biostar micro ATX CRU51M9-02 mobo. The video is on board.
The Chip set and video is nVidia.

This was going to be just a secondary rig for web surfing and F@H only, however now I want to put a TV tuner in it.

I bought a ATI TV Wonder Elite to put in this rig.

Ok so now your saying what an idiot, nVidia and ATI mix like gas and water.

I have spent the past 12 hours trying to get this bitch to work and have gone the distance to reformat the HD and re-install XP pro. I'm just now getting the SP2 patches downloaded so I can try again.

Got any advice on how to make this work?

Every time I try to install the Power Cinema.exe the results is the same. BSOD each and every time.

I have downloaded the most recent files from ATI and when trying to install that it says I have to have
3.0 installed before the install can continue.

That rig has 2G of ram so I don't think its a mem problem.

I'v been to the ATI FAQ pages and just get lost. I'll keep searching for the answer but if anyone out there has a tip I'll listen.

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE

It works. OH YEA

After the reformat and update to SP2 all of the peices of the puzzle just seem to fall into place.
I don't understand why but it works fine now. And I love it.

The ATI TV Wonder Elite PCI is everything I expected and more.

I did not have to update the BIOS or change PCI slots.

Thanks for the sugestions.

EDIT: The remote sucks. It crashes frequently. OH well Ill figure it out or just use the mouse
