| Apex Advanced Techie |  Weird Memory Problems I bought some cheap memory from frys when i got my new mb/cpu just to get it up and running. It is pqi ddr2-pc4200 a gigs worth. I ordered http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220142 from newegg. The Patriot Ram came today. I pulled out the old ram and put the new one in. It wouldn't boot. So i put the pqi ram back in WITH the patriot and it boots up and shows 2gigs and everything. I tried changing slots for the ram and it sill wont work by itself but works in either slot WITH the pqi memory. Any suggestions? I wanted to return the pqi memory to frys and just use the patriot. | |
