Default Expensive but pretty cool for a premod...

I don't think this popped up on here yet....

For most people on here it defeats the whole purpose of this site, but I still thought it was a sweet looking case/system. I may plan a future build from this. (not using it, just the idea)

I think one of the modding sites did something similar, it was named Weapon of Mass Destruction.

I've seen these before... wasn't there some custom shop that made PCs with these octagon cases?

Nerdz, you must have been thinking of this case by G-gnome...

The whole thing is stainless, has a working timer, and was 99% custom made... I learn something awesome every time I read his worklogs.

I read a review of that setup over at bit-tech a while back - not quite my cup of tea, but they loved it

There's a company over here (U.K) that builds a similar rig to that it's called the 3XS AMD SLisotope S939 & it's quite expensive .....

That is a work of art, also looks like a nuclear device

That was the general idea... you should read his worklog. I didn't have any idea how much work went into a machine like that. He actually went as far as to sand/wire polish every single piece in a certain direction, to make it look just right. Even custom made half of the fasteners and washers on the dang thing. Un-freaking-believable.

Oh, and on topic, I knew I saw that machine before! The Isotope... supposed to be a pretty swank machine, from what I read. I'd rather build one myself though... although after seeing G-gnome's work I kinda feel like doing something else. That guy raises the bar and then some.
