My harddrive is shootin' craps!

Well, my primary harddrive is slowly giving up the ghost. Last week, we had a power outage and my rig restarted for the first time in a couple weeks. It posted to a warning similar to:

"Sec Master Disk SMART: Bad..."

I've seen this before... when my last drive failed, it said this also. It's also been making some clunking sounds... but it's been doing that almost ever since I installed it. But just a few minutes ago, I tried to run my MSN Messenger to get a bubble pop up from the task tray saying:

"C:/Program Files has become corrupt..."

Yeah, nothing in the Program Files folder on my C: drive is readable anymore. I'm backing up all of my important stuff... mainly PSD files and all my precious signatures and other graphic stuff.

Lol, anyone have an unused 7200rpm 80Gb HDD layin' around they'd like to get rid of? Looks like I'm gonna need one here before too long.

You might be able to try saving it with a low level Format...there are utilities from Maxtor, I am sure there are plenty of other ones too.
