PC Turns Off

I press the Powerbutton and it turns off like 2sec is this a psu problem or something else

What are you trying to say?

You press the power button and it powers up and shuts off after 2 seconds?

So your saying your PC turns of really really fast, sounds good to me?!?!?

But if it turns off 2 seconds after you turn it on then it sounds bad?!?!?

Could be a number of things the most likely a bad PSU, try it in another machine and see what it does. Have you upgraded any components of your rig lately? If you have ou just might not have enough power coming in.

I'm with Reza here, -it sounds like a PSU issue, that or (less suspect) there's something going wrong with the CPU or (critically) circuitry on the motherboard.

I just took out a 600watt PSU because I kept hitting the power button. I had a cut on a 12 volt line where it was sliced and pinched on one of my brand new, very sharp case edges. I kept hitting the button, but like an idiot, I held down the button out of pure rage and cooked the supply. Check your PSU leads. The new clear sheilding can be hard to catch a slcie and exposed wire. Don't be me! Don't be a NUBE!
